COST CONTROL ENGINEERS:

A.      QUALIFICATIONS

·         Must be a graduate of B.S in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical)

·         Must have at least minimum of five (5) year experience as Cost Control Engineer

·         Must be proficient in English Language (oral & written)

·         Must be computer literate (Primavera, AUTOCAD 2D, Word, Excel etc.)

B.       DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Responsible for the Control of Project Progress.

·         Responsible for ensuring availability of Resources and allocation.

·         Coordinate with other Departments for Material Resources (Procurement Dept.), Human Resources (HR Dept.), Safety and Quality.

·         Prepare Project Progress Report, Cash Flow and Financial Analysis Report to Top Management.

·         Plan and prepare man-hour budget and schedule.

·         Reporting directly to Planning Department.

C.       JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Monitoring Cost and commitments through requisitions and Invoice review.

·         Ensuring active engagement of team members by delegation of tasks to the appropriate person.

·         Ensuring adherence to recommended best practices such as the PERT/CPM.

·         Ensuring adherence to Quality Standard.

·         Coordination and regulating various meetings such as, Project Progress review meeting etc.

·         Application of various “Project Progress Methods” to ensure the Project Schedule is on track to meet deadlines or deliverables.

·         Devising Strategies to overcome Roadblocks or Delays through various methods such as using Industry related Technical knowledge, Innovating shortcuts or alternative ways, improvising with available resources, scheduling overtime to meet deadlines etc.

·         Ensuring compliance with safety standards.

·         Developing and monitoring Project Cost Forecast.
