1.       Electrical Technicians 

·         Knowledge of English Language (speak, read & writing)

·         Shall have Diploma or Industrial Training Institutes certificate in Electrical Trade.

·         Minimum work experience of five years as an electrician in chemical/steel plant.

·         Demonstrated ability to perform work typical of this environment without assistance, including but not limited to:

a)      Use standard instruments to check voltage, amperage, speed, rotation and vibration.

b)      Troubleshooting and repair of ground faults.

c)       Repair of electrical motors up to 500HP including replacement of bearings and seals, installation of motors, connection of starters and circuits, rewinding of LV and HV motors. Repair of transformers, breakers, feeders, isolation switches, control boxes, etc.

d)      Maintenance of battery standby systems.

e)      Demonstrated ability to read, interprets wiring schematics, troubleshoots and repairs.

f)       Installation of conduit, enclosures, wiring, connections and controls up to 480V for new connection.

g)      Ability to repair and maintain equipment including ,CP system, OH cranes, automatic doors.

h)      Ability to splice cables up to 500MCM

i)        Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematics for power distribution systems up to 13.8KV including repair and maintenance of 10MVA transformer.

j)        Ability to climb and work at elevated heights in extreme hot & dusty conditions.
