Job Title : BALER OPERATOR
Reporting To : Shift Supervisor - CMP
Authority :
The Baler Operator has the delegated authority in maintaining the equipment in such condition that quality
standards are met. To carry out required baling and scrap checks and maintenance as stipulated in relevant
QCTs, QCAs, SOPs and QRAs.
Objectives :
1 Responsible for reviewing and implementing corrective and preventive actions, procedures and changes
affecting product quality.
2 Responding immediately to identify non-conforming conditions within defined time periods and with complete
information to describe the actual (planned) corrective actions taken.
3 To collect scrap bins in respective areas/machines.
4 To ensure zero scrap of bins at all times and record quantities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
5 To monitor and ensure all scraps are weigh appropriately following the first-in, first-out system.
6 Responsible for unwrapping each coils based on the monthly coil loading list.
7 To report potential problems to the Shift Supervisor or relevant personnel.
8 To take necessary corrective actions and report the non-conformities to the Senior QC and other relevant
personnel.
9 To maintain safe working practices and comply with any legal safety requirements and/or tasks.
10 On maintenance days, in carrying out the repairs, preventive maintenance and/or housekeeping tasks
