Due to and expanding growth in the real estate market in Western Australia the client is seeking to employ Cabinet Makers to join their strong team of employees across Western Australia.

Cabinet Maker Job Duties:

Essential:

• Carry out measurements and calculations
• Prepare cutting list from plans and job specifications
• Read and interpret work documents
• Use furniture making sector hand and power tools
• Hand make timber joints
• Join solid timber
• Assemble furnishing components
• Construct jigs and fixtures
• Measure with graduated devices
• Prepare surfaces for finishing
• Fabricate custom furniture
• Produce angled and curved furniture using manufactured board
• Set-up, operate and maintain basic static, sawing and drilling machines
• Apply manufactured board conversion techniques

Qualifications and Experience:

• Trade Qualifications as a Cabinet Maker – commercial and/or residential
• 5+ years of work experience as a cabinet maker working on commercial and residential projects

Working Conditions :

• The successful applicant will be reporting to the Site Supervisor.
• Candidate will be working and living on a mine site in north-west of Western Australia
• This is a 10 hour working day, 5 days a week
• Salary will range from $30-$35 per hour (depending on experience and skills)
• Accommodation will be partially subsidized by the company
