Due to and expanding growth in the real estate market in Western Australia the client is seeking to employ Plumber to join their strong team of employees across Western Australia.

Plumber Job Duties:

Essential:

• Ability to read plans and calculate plumbing quantities
• Mark out materials
• Handle and store plumbing materials
• Use plumbing hand and power tools
• Cut and join sheet metal
• Cut using oxy-LPG-acetylene equipment
• Carry out simple concreting and rendering
• Carry out levelling and install trench support
• Set out and install water services and install and adjust water service controls and devices
• Install and commission water heating systems
• Install water pump sets
• Fit off and commission hot and cold water services
• Locate and clear blockages
• Install domestic treatment plants
• Install storm water and sub-soil drainage system
• Drain worksite
• Plan layout of a residential external sanitary drainage system and residential sanitary plumbing system
• Install below ground sanitary drainage systems
• Install on-site disposal systems
• Install water service
• Install discharge pipes
• Fabricate and install sanitary stacks.
• Install and fit off sanitary fixtures
• Install pre-treatment facilities
• Weld plastic pipe using fusion method
• Weld using oxy-acetylene and arc welding equipment

Qualifications and Experience

• Trade Qualifications as a Plumber– commercial and/or residential
• 5+ years of work experience as a plumber working on commercial and residential projects

Desirable:

A licence, registration or certification from country of origin is required for this occupation.

Working Conditions : 

• The successful applicant will be reporting to the Site Supervisor.
• Candidate will be working and living on a mine site in North West of Western Australia
• This is a 10 hour working day, 5 days per week
• Salary will range from $30-$35 per hour (depending on experience and skills)
• Accommodation will be partially subsidized by the company
