Tree Planter / Nursery Worker

 Qualification:

·         Degree in Forestry or Horticulture or any related course

·         Should have 5  Years practical field experience in the same position

·         Must be well experienced in shovel work planting trees, spraying & pruning

·         Those with  landscaping experience and advantage

·         Must speak good English

·         25-40   years old below

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. To be able to identify plant species and best terrain & conditions fro these species
2. De-flasking of plants ( removing of pots from the root bulb)
3. Collecting & stacking of post during and at the end of the day
4. Planting plants with the correct cultivation techniques as to the species that is being handled
5. The correct depth is used
6. Checking the correct fertilization for every plants as specified by your supervisor
7. You will be planting in all types of soil, terrain and weather
8. Some staking of individual plants maybe involved
9. Correct handling techniques are being used at all times
10. Work as a team to cover the job in the most effective manner
11. Release spraying or weed eradication by use of chemical and manual removal
12. Seeding of seedlings for the planting season
13. Weeding of the nursery
