Job Description and Requirements

Education

 

 

Certificate/ Diploma from Technical Institute in Electrical or equivalent 

Required experience

1.     Practical experience in the field of cable jointing/ Termination of 6.6kV/ 11kV/ LV Power cables; 33kV power, Pilot cable (XLPE; PILC; Cold shrink types).

2.     Cable repair jobs; conversant with advanced techniques of cable jointing/Termination and safety practices. 

3.     cable test van connection etc. To have the knowledge of the control panels, wiring of electrical installations, Phasing of the cable in Medium voltage cable etc. 

4.     Basic Knowledge of cable schedule, Data sheets for cables, termination kits indoor/ outdoor type. 

5.     Testing of cable after termination with High pot.

Skills

1.     At least 10 years experience in similar field. 

2.     Capable to work under pressure and stress, especially when facing bid deadlines. 

3.      Bilingual speaking Arabic/English
