Sales Manager
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for achieving quarterly and annual financial targets revenue and IBT
• Participate in sales planning meetings and work in collaboration with other sales team members
• Maintain and manage your assigned developed sales territories
• Cultivate and manage undeveloped sales territories
• Achieve agreed sales volumes and contribute to the development of future sales plans
• Actively participate in training and development activities to ensure you are familiar with the Company’s latest product and service portfolio
• Submit sales reporting on a regular basis to your manager required sales reporting to your manager
• Required to communicate with customers to ensure that contractual service expectations are exceeded
• Required to communicate with Major Account’s team to ensure chain standards are adhered to in all Major Account
negotiations
• Ensure you are familiar with new releases and new technology as they become available
Other Requirements
• Willing to work overtime and holidays as requested
• Able to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time
• Currently hold a valid passport and drivers’ license
• Willing to work with a wide variety of cultures
• Adhere to company standards, policy and procedure
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Essential)
• Experience in a commercial environment, including 3 years’ experience in a sales role
• Current knowledge of the state of the hospitality technology market, industry and environment
• Proven sales record
• Proven ability to work in a team
• Minimum one year’s experience establishing contacts and building positive relationships with senior level decision makers in targeted companies
• Relevant degree, diploma, certificate or equivalent experience
• High level of knowledge and understanding of the MICROS suite of products (or similar competitor products)
• Experience using the Microsoft suite of products in particular, Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint
Desirable
• Previous experience working in a sales position in a MICROS business unit
• Previous experience working in a sales position in the hospitality industry
• Previous experience working in a sales position in the IT industry
