Job Information - Loading Team Leader
Principal/Project:Qatar Aviation Services (QAS)
Job Description and Requirements
Qualification:

Essential:
  • · High school qualifications
  • · Qualified to handle / load different types of aircrafts.
  • · Certified in ramp / aircraft handling.
Preffered:
  • · Ability to load all types of aircrafts.
  • · Certified in IATA Dangerous Goods for Ramp Agents.

Previous Experience:

Essential:
  • · Specialist – minimum 5 years of job - related experience required.
  • · Experience in loading both wide / narrow bodied aircrafts.
  • · Ability to apply & interpret messages and LIRF

Preffered:
  • · Experience as a ramp / loading agent or as a supervisor.

Job Description:

Essential:
  • ·   Certified in basic load control
  • ·  Proficiency in ground handling procedures and departure control system
  • ·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with individuals                from multi-cultural background
  • ·   Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • ·   Ability to work under pressure and react to frequent operational changes.
  • ·   Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and                  coaching skills.
  • ·  Ability to train and develop subordinate’s skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
 
 Preffered:
  • ·      Practical knowledge of airport communications system (DCS / BRS)
  • ·    Awareness of ground handling and safe aircraft loading procedures
  • ·    Practical knowledge or airport communications system (DCS / BRS)
