DEFINITION

Cooling & Heating systems Officer/Engineer

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

Knowledge and experience of handling Utility systems such as

1.       Steam Boilers

2.       Refrigeration / Water Chillers – Air cooled / Water cooled

3.       Thermal Oil Systems for temperature from -30 degree Celsius to +160 degree Celsius

4.       HVAC System

Job Responsibilities:

1.       Daily Operation and preventive maintenance of Utility systems

2.       Arranging for the inventory of all the required treatment chemicals

3.       Ensuring Utilities are available to Production at all times with the correct parameters

4.       Ensuring that Utilities operations are cost effective and in line with Budget

5.       Energy conservation initiatives

6.       Ensuring compliance to GxP practices

7.       Reporting on efficient generation and distribution on daily basis.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1.       Sound knowledge of Job related areas

2.       Knowledge of preparation of Service Level agreements

3.       Knowledge of Working with Safety work permits

4.       Knowledge of working on Automated Package Units of Utility equipment

5.       Ability to coordinate with multi-cultural and multi-national team members

6.       Analytical skills for trouble-shooting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7to 10 years related experience / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 9 to 12 years of related experience

Training and Experience

Training of Efficient Operation and Maintenance of Utilities

 Experience of 7 to 12 years in related areas

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Good analytical and trouble-shooting skills

Computer literate in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and E-mail

Physical Characteristics

Good health for shopfloor work. Good physique, pleasing personality and preferably organised for working in Saudi Arabia
