Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an Aromatics Plant

Task Description:
  • Provides engineering support for chemical and process systems like hydrocrackers and diesel hydrotreater.
  • Identifies system concepts and determine system functional and technical requirements.
  • Conducts process analyses, monitor system performance, troubleshoot and resolve problems and ensure operation within technical and safety basis requirements.
  • Proposes and develops process/system improvement including flow sheet changes, equipment upgrades and plant modifications.
  • Prepares modification packages, provide technical input (e.g., for procedure development) and approves work packages, and advise operations/maintenance for optimizing day to day operations.
  • Monitors product yields, catalyst life and process efficiencies and generate recommendations, which increase plant efficiency or yield.
  • Develops safety procedures to be employed by workers operating equipment or working in close proximity to ongoing chemical reactions.
