Job Information - Lab Scientists
Principal/Project:Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco)
Job Description and Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
  • At least 7 years of experience at a petroleum refinery testing laboratory or equivalent

Task Description:
  • Understands and operate different and advanced analytical testing equipment such as ICP, AA, FTIR, GC, GC-MS, HPLC, JFTOT, Octane engine and Distillation.
  • Commissions, calibrates/validates all refining analytical lab equipment.
  • Applies and uses international methods such as ASTM, UOP and IP.
  • Applies lab quality management system through ISO 17025 standard and total quality management.
  • Maintains lab specialist equipment.
  • Investigates analytical operational problems and write technical reports with recommendations to resolve such problems based on analyzing lab data.
  • Maintains and update working knowledge of applicable state-of-the-art laboratory instrumentation.
