Job Description and Requirements

Job requirements:

  1. Preparation of urban design advice for input to the Local Development Plan and Local Development Framework. In particular the preparation of Local Development Documents including Action Area Plans, Masterplans, Area Frameworks, etc. and Supplementary Planning Documents including Briefs, Themed Guidance and other design advice either jointly or by lead responsibility as appropriate.
  2. Thorough knowledge of current urban design advice from national planning policy guidance and regional policy.
  3. Must be 30 to 45 years old
  4. Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Design.
