Man Specification:

• Will have served a recognized trade apprenticeship and be capable of passing the company’s G 2 trade test.
•  He shall have a minimum of 8 years experience 4 of which will have been spent offshore.

Requirements:

•   Directly responsible to the Welding Supervisor.
•   He is responsible for setting up, measuring marking off, cutting, edge preparation and alignment of all pipe work and structural items. He must be able to interpret working drawing and carry out simple arithmetic calculation, and shall have knowledge of line pipes, fittings and pressure ratings.
•  He shall assist in hydro testing operations. He will be fully conversant with company’s safety and permit to work procedures.
