QUALIFICATION OF POWER STATION OPERATOR
>Should hold a relevant technical qualification and strong technical aptitude.
>At least three years of relevant operations experience within a Power Station/ High Capacity Generators
>Experienced with synchronization panels/High Capacity Generators.
>Knowledgeable in Electric Maintenance.
>To observe, control and keep records of the Power Station Parameters/Data.
>To ensure that synchronization and load share processes are performed properly.
>To control generators, coolant temperature and the diesel levels in the daily tanks.
>To perform the Start-up/Shutdown/Emergency Stop of the power station when required.
>To regulate generators according to the required load and based on the readings provided by the monitors/screens.
>To report to the site supervisor when running parameters are exceeding limits.
>Good verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy.
