PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications:
Essential
Should be a graduate with Bachelor’s degree or other Engineering course
Should be numerate and analytical.
Strong interpersonal abilities, with the ability to communicate and work with personnel from a wide variety of professional disciplines and backgrounds.
Age 30-40 years age
Desirable
Membership in the recognised institutions will be an advantage
Certification from Transport Group Organisations
International CPC holder or Equivalent (Certificate of Professional Competency )
PMP certified
Experience:
Essential responsibilities executed (Generic Description)
Minimum of 5 – 7 years relevant experience in similar environment
Desirable responsibilities (Generic Description)
Experience in the Middle East in a similar role
Worked in a multi-cultural environment.
Experience in SAP environment
Competencies (Technical, Operational, Managerial, Human & Cultural Requirements):
Knowledge, Skills and Attitude
Up-to-date with all technical development in the Road Transport Industry
Up-to-date with all aspects of technical development in the road haulage, ie. Electronic fuel management, Electromechanical braking systems, air suspension systems, climate control systems, electronic hydraulic clutch mechanisms.
Computer literate - MS Office
Strong Leadership and good change management skills
self-starter with the ability to 'take the lead'
Team player with a high level of self-initiative. Ability to develop staff.
Ability to work within stringent financial, quality and time-bound targets.
Results Oriented
Strong communicator with ability to influence
Analytical and planning skills
