Skill Requirements:       

• Responsible to do programming with a good quality tooling;
• Can creates machining instructions, follow design from manager's instruction;
• Includes reviewing three-dimensional computer-aided/automated design (CAD) blueprints, determining where to cut, and other calculations.
• Realize the expectation from CAD/CAM manager;
• Ensure to design with a good tooling w/o dim and mould function issue;
• The programmer then translates the instructions into a computer aided/automated manufacturing (CAM) program.
• CNC programmer may run a simulation prior to the CNC operator running the program on the machine and making the object.

Duties: 

• Determines the sequence of shaping operations and chooses the cutting tools needed.
• Programs a CNC machine to produce objects from a blueprint or other specification diagram.
• Create diagrams by making precise measurements of objects.
• set up a CNC machine for various projects and creating instructions for machine operators to use.
• Analyzes job orders, drawings, blueprints and other data and then performs all the necessary calculations.
• Writes programs or modifies existing programs and stores them on the machine's controller using tapes or disks.
• Ensure that the machines and programs operate correctly and that products meet specifications.
