I. Operates and continuously monitor two bagging machines, two belt conveyors, two metal detectors, and two check weigher, and two bag printing machines, pellets recycling system, bulk filling system and IBC machine efficiently and safely. Within the ISO procedures quality target of the produced product.
Duties and Responsibilities:
I. Follow YANPET policies, procedures and work instructions during all activities. II. Operator should not operate the machine with any safety device malfunctioning or by passed and should report any malfunction to Shift Supervisor. III. Every shift, Operator should survey the two Bagging machines, conveyor system and all other associated equipment's for any up normal movements or unusual sounds. IV. Monitor and be on cautions about the vehicles traffic in the area. V. The Operator must fill Safe Work Authorization permit, clean under machine by using hand brooms and vacuum hoses, perform "Lock out Tag out" procedure, observe the maintenance technician for the safety of all. Upon completion of maintenance work, Operator must test the machine, confirm the house keeping of the area of the maintenance objects, and properly close the work permit. VI. On shift basis; the Operator shall keep the production line always clean from: scattered pellets, empty bags, spillage, hazardous waste "ink spillage", "ink soaked rugs", "Ink and solvent bottles", open seal bags, packaging materials wrappings, etc. All trash material should be segregated in accordance with unit procedures. These includes disposing items such as plastic shrouds, empty bag film core and avoid mixing the disposal of such items. VII. Immediately remove from the rejection conveyor / jogging conveyor any open or jammed bags before it spell over the area and bring it to recycling system. VIII. Operates the bagging machines / bulk loading system / IBC machine as per the given instructions. Set the parameters of the production machine Libra scale into the operating screen as per the agreed settings. IX. To install bag film rolls (270 kg) that is free of damages, with god winding and good logo colours in the machines. And be cautious of bag cutting knife and other sharp edges. X. Continuously monitor production machines to assure the following: Maximum output rate, correct weighting by 4 full (25 kg) bags by carrying to the 100 kg scale hour from each machine and record the resulted bag weight (report any non conformance to Shift Supervisor), seal quality, bag length, bag printing quality, stacking quality. Continuous communication with Pallitzer Operator to insure maximum and smooth operation. Records all events into the quality log sheet and inform the supervisor on time. XI. Check / set metal detector by looking into its operating screen and confirm it's on the "ON" position and confirm its operation during the shift. Upon detecting any metal bags, operator should place the bag again on conveyor belt upstream the metal detector, and upon confirmation, operator should open the bag and fill anon conformance report and send it to shift supervisor. XII. Check / set weigher by looking into its operating screen and confirm it's "ON" position. And confirm the upper and lower limit of bag weight. XIII. Confirm the spillage detector operation by putting some pellets into it and if going to trip the line. XIV. Rotate the Teflon sealing bar to have even and proper sealing by loosening the sealing bar bolts. And confirm that the sealing element is in good condition in order to give the required seal. And confirm that sealing bars electrical cables are in good shape. XV. Operator must conduct shift relieving at work station, and update his reliever of all activities conducted during the shift, prepare the packaging materials to be used for next shift. XVI. Daily; "minimum twice a shift" operator upon starting a new slot shall do the following: clearing the line from bag of old lot, emptying recycle hopper, obtain new slot documents, install correct film type, entering lot information into bag printer, manually scrap the 1st 4 bags from each bagging machine to avoid product contamination.
Minimum Requirements:
a) High School graduate with two (02) years experience or industrial college graduate. b) Good knowledge in English.
