Job Information - PLATE FABRICATOR

Job Description and Requirements

QUALIFICATION:

• 3-5 years’ experience in pressure vessel fabrication industry

• MUST have strong experience in heavy plate work which included pressure vessels and tanks

• Experience in a range of materials, from Carbon to Stainless

• Experience in heavy engineering – average material thickness is 30-40 mm but can go up to 100mm

• Ability to read and interpret drawings

• Good communication skills

• Is proactive in asking questions or clarifications related to drawings and fabrication

• Can TIG – GTAW welding

• Can FCAW welding to x-ray standard


• CONTINUES STUDY AFTER HIGH SCHOOL EITHER VOCATIONA OR COLLEGE
