Job Information - Structural Engineer
Principal/Project:AECOM Arabia
Job Description and Requirements
The Structural Engineer will work under the guidance of the Structural Engineer (Senior) and will be responsible for the design of various types of Highway/Road structures.  Projects include design of new highways and upgrading/rehabilitation of existing roads.
Planning, design and design reviews, reporting of projects, method statements.
Structures Design: Responsible for carrying out the design of various structures.  Structures could be simple or complex structures.
Highway geometric and structural design including all related roads/highways facilities
Design and design reviews and technical reporting
Preparation of projects tender documents including front end documents, particular specifications, and BOQs
Liaison, coordination and follow up with clients, agencies, sub-consultants & Prequalification and evaluation of contractors.
Design Management: Traffic management during construction and construction phasing
Quantity take off, cost estimate, preparation of tender documents and particular specifications
Solid knowledge of local and international standards such as (AASHTO).
Ensure continuous technical improvement of the design team
Liaise with different disciplines within the design team.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering or a related field
Master’s Degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering or a related field preferred
Professional Engineer registration preferred
Minimum 10 years experience, GCC experience is preferred.
Familiarity with design standards like AASHTO & BS
Minimum of 10 years experience in design of various road and highway transportation projects
GCC/Middle East experience is preferred

Salary range: SR 14000 - 16000
