The Kenmore Industrial & Property Division – based in Lae and Port Moresby respectively, is seeking suitably qualified, experienced and highly motivated Management Accountants.

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANTS

Job Scope: To provide accounting and administrative support directly to the  Divisional & Branch Financial Controller and the Branch Manager. 

Job Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following skills and experience:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Supervise, monitors, trains and evaluates job performance of Administration and Accounting staff assigned within the Branch.
2. Prepare Financial Statement in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards, accounting principles and concept
3. Prepare monthly and annual tax reporting and compliance
4. Provides advice on financial planning and risk management
5. Prepare and analyze financial and management report to assist management in decision making
6. Prepare Financial Plan, Forecast and Budget
7. Plans, reviews and implements Accounting and Administration Policies, systems and Procedures
8. May provide insight into cost performance and support the implementation of benchmarking and improvement initiatives.
9. Carry out other relevant duties as required by the Divisional Financial Controller and/or General Manager

Qualifications:
1. Recent, proven and recognized Accounting Qualification
2. Current financial member of Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants
3. Will be required to register with Certified Practicing Accountants Papua New Guinea

Experience:
1. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an Accounting role, including at least three (3) years at management level covering all aspects of staff management and administration.
2. Experience in the Manufacturing and/or Real Estate Industries is preferred.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office application and routine database management.
4. Knowledgeable in Fully Integrated Accounting System preferably AccPac.

Other Requirements:
1. Age range 27 to 45 years old
2. In good health
3. Resourceful, adaptable and flexible in nature.
4. Able to travel to other centres in PNG.
5. Be able to work long hours and public holidays.
6. Have a current driver’s license and a proficient driver.

Compensation

Employment Term: Three (3) years renewable

Gross Salary per Annum: Note:
1. Property Division Management Accountant - US$30,000.00
2. Industrial Division Management Accountant - US$40,000-$50,000
(Subject to income tax rate of 40%)

Employment Term: Three (3) years renewable

Other Benefits:

2. Annual leave with return airfares provided on each anniversary of employment
3. Medical and life insurance
4. Company provided vehicle (must know how to drive and have valid driver’s licence)
5. Single status initially with the possibility of married status dependent upon performance and longevity of employment
6. Employer contribution to Superannuation fund (8.4% of Employees pay).
