Our client is a bus and vehicle hire company based in North Western Australia with a fleet of over 85 vehicles with 30+ drivers. The vehicles include an extensive range of cars, trucks, vans, utes and buses.

Due to an increasing demand for vehicles the client is seeking urgently Auto Electricians with experience in repair and maintenance of vehicle air conditioners to join their very busy workshop for the service and repair of the companies hire vehicles.

In this role the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical wiring and electronic components in motor vehicles.

Automotive Electrician (Job Duties):

Desirable:

• Trade certificate or on the job-training as a Automotive Electrician or have Trade Certificates
• 5+ years experience as an auto electrician required
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Strong English language skills
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
• Overseas experience is highly regarded

• Repair electrical systems

• Repair ignition systems
• Service and repair electronic spark ignition engine management systems
• Remove and install electrical/electronic units/sub-assemblies
• Install, test and repair low voltage wiring/lighting systems
• Install, test and repair electrical security systems/components
• Install ancillary electrical components
• Manufacture and repair wiring harness/looms
• Service air conditioning systems
• Carry out oxy acetylene welding, thermal cutting and thermal heating procedures
• Carry out soldering of electrical wiring and circuits
• Carry out gas metal arc (MIG) welding procedures
