Job Description and Requirements
Our client in Sri Lanka is looking for a Retail Designer to join thier truly inspirational brand, where you will experience a fast paced, challenging and innovative working environment.

Your varied role as a Retail Designer will include working across the retail spectrum from store design through to store displays that promote their company's brand.

You should provide creative direction by conceptualizing, creating and overseeing the execution of highly functional environments based on a keen understanding of retail trends and clear understanding of the company's product range and image.

Work scope:
  • Work with the visual merchandizing team to understand architectural preferences, purpose and function of environment, budget, types of construction, equipment to be installed, and other factors that affect planning retail interior environments.
  • Execute concepts into retail designs, by working with company's creative and visual merchandise teams.
  • Conducts external design resource identification, selection and management based on the requirements of the theme and concept.
  • Working with the suppliersin directing them with technical specifications and creative assistance in completing retailfixtures, units and modifications.
  • Advises the company on retail/interior design factors, such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, colour schemes and colour coordination.
  • Maintain and record, documentation and specification changes of concepts and themes for future reference.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architechture / Interior Design or related field.
  • A min. of 5 years experience in Interior Design or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Exhibits a work style that is assertive and initiative driven, with th self-confidence and ability to represent the company in a professional manner, gaining a high level of confidence from diverse groups.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects from concept to completion.
