· Determine process flow & control plan , material usage & toolings used
· Ensure specifications of products meet customer requirements
· Document process instructions, train & certify trainers & supervise to ensure process instructions are promptly disseminated & implemented at manufacturing floor
· Ensure documentation & manufacturing practices comply to Quality, Environmental, Safety, Health, Legal (Statutory and Regulatory) & medical requirements
· Continuous to seek & propose for innovative or new technology solution to streamline existing processes for lean manufacturing & wastage reduction
· Response to engineering change from customer, transfer into internal documents & implement into the process
· Constant involvement in scheduled communication or meeting with customer to ensure customer needs & requirements are fulfilled satisfactory
· Continuous monitor, compile, review & improve manufacturing yield using FMEA & DOE approach. Periodical review & brainstorm with quality, material & operation teams for continuous yield improvement
· Guide, train & lead downline technicians in daily production line problem solving to meet department goal
· Train & supervise downline technicians & engineering operators in the execution of routine preventive maintenance of the toolings used
· Take lead in engineering , manufacturing & tooling readiness for NPI
· PCB design study & optimization using Design for Manufacturability (DFM) approach. Feedback to customer with recommendation for design improvement to resolve DFM inadequacy
· Conduct NPI build, document technical issues, liaise & brainstorm with internal team & customer if necessary to resolve all the issues arised prior to mass production
· Best pratice, experience & knowledge sharing between this facility & sister facility for mutual behefit
· Constant participation in external seminars, workshops & absorb knowledge from e-journal or e-paper for self-knowledge enhancement to apply in work
