MALE & FEMALE - JR. SHIPPING & LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE (IMPEX OFFICER)
Assists & evaluates needs with shipping points, services, weights & freight permits, and other information needed.
Arranges for movement of freight to consignee/agent & updates the system with information.
Enter data pertaining to international shipments into the company’s ERP system and into the shipping systems of commercial freight carriers.
Keep a Track of all Import and Export Shipments with their complete details.
Follow up with shipping line or agents for all import shipment and get the arrival dates.
Arranging of documents in advance as per Customs and Municipality for Import Shipments.
Inform transporter along with the delivery schedule and inform to warehouse as well for the receiving of the goods.
Get the confirmation from warehouse, after the delivery and update in the system.
Keep a proper filling of all import documents such as Customs and Municipality.
Keep a track of Municipality Inspection of all Import Shipments and update to warehouse accordingly.
Arrange documents for export shipments as per the requirement Customers.
Inform to Warehouse about the export loading schedule.
Getting the freight rates from shipping lines and make a comparison.
Coordinate with shipping agents for the clearance of all Import and export shipments.
Male & Female, 25-35yrs old
2-3 years relevant work experience, preferably in shipping and logistics department
Proficient in Microsoft application
Experience in handling software for shipping and logistics processes
Good interpersonal, excellent oral and written communication and customer handling skills.
Analytical mind with good organizational and planning skills.
Meticulous and able to handle routine data entries accurately and efficiently.
8hrs, 6 days a week
