1. Knowledge/Education
Proficiency in general accounting procedures is mandatory. Must be proficient in IBM-compatible personal computer operation, to include Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs. Must have an excellent command of the English language, both oral and written. Must be completely trustworthy, exercise confidentiality and discretion at all times. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Completion of a Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting is mandatory.
2. Experience
Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in accounting and/or finance. Must have two (2) years database experience. At least two (2) years experience using IBM-compatible personal computers is mandatory. Prior experience in a supervisory capacity is desirable.
3. Duties and Responsibilities
a. Reports to the Business Director as a Finance Administrator.
b. Tracks incoming and outgoing contract payments
c. Establishes working relationship with Bank Relations Manager (Arabic preferred).
d. Applies for and tracks Line of Credit.
e. Applies for and tracks Letter of Credit.
f. Applies for and tracks Wire transfer payments.
g. Prepares and tracks Invoices and Purchase Orders.
h. Manages payroll.
i. Manages Petty Cash and Bill payment.
j. Monitors overhead expenses and ensures adherence to budgets.
k. Provides monthly reports.
l. Performs audits as required.
m. Performs other finance-related duties as directed. |
