QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CANDIDATES:

ACADEMIC/PERSONAL TRAITS:

1. Must came from a school/university where English language  is used as a part/means of communication; or must have obtained a degree/subject  in communication arts wherein “Americanized accent” is being used; or currently enrolled /willing to pursue studies pertaining to a language course that promotes excellent pronunciation and diction;
2. A graduate of Bachelor or Arts/Science; must be a LET passer  with at least two years good working experience as an elementary  teacher is an advantage; must have complete authentic and professional documents; must be 22 years old up to 35 years old; male or female;
3. He/ She must be skilled in his/her profession; must be updated with the current issues involving teaching materials and enhancement; with good conduct inside and outside of the classroom; goal oriented; well informed about the various learning strategies; active, friendly and competent; with good mastery of the classroom settings;
4. No criminal records in the Philippines or outside the Philippines;
5. Must know how to build a strong rapport with the Employers and with his/her students; cooperative with his/her co-teachers; flexible; willing to work or assigned in various schools in Japan;
6. Must be willing to adapt/learn Japanese language and culture while still in the Philippines for on-site preparations; must  know the basic greetings, expressions and classroom settings to be of continuous learning in Japan;
7. Must be able to accept feedback from the Employers  and students as part of the growing process of his/her career;
8. Must be dignified at all times in all occasions; with sense of integrity in his/her working place; observe and follow rules that promotes advantage for enhancement of Filipino in the field of teaching; task and goal oriented;
9. Have been using  English or Japanese language  as a way of communication  so as to obtain proper channeling of ideas in a friendly and useful manner;
10. Physically, emotionally, socially and mentality capable as to maintain the dignity of work and to be an inspiration to the students and to the country as well.

 PROCEDURAL /QUALIFYING STEPS:

SUBMISSION OF RESUME with COVER LETTER and other PERTINENT documents via email

1. Updated resume must include the following :

-Full Name/Present and Provincial Address/Contact Information/Email Address

-Up to date working experiences related to the job criteria of the agency

-Personal Information must include the parents name and date of birth/passport number and validity/SSS, Phil health, Pag-ibig Number/References (not your relatives)

Person to contact in case of emergency/Relatives, friends or family in Japan

-Work Experiences should include the Job Description/year attended/reason for leaving/

Contact person in that company

-Countries visited whether as work or tourist

-Must bear your authentic signature (scan or originally signed)

2. Cover Letter must include the following:

-The intention of your application/total years of working experience/strengths and abilities

-Reasons of leaving the country and what will you gain in working overseas

-Ambitions and aspirations after 3 years from the date of your application up to the date you will be hired by the Employer

3. Professional Documents to be submitted in photocopy ONCE YOU ARE CALLED FOR THE INTERVIEW AND VIDEO:

-Updated Resume with recent passport picture white background (taken within 2 months)

-Valid Passport (2013 and up)

-Valid NBI

-High School/College Diploma

-LET Certificate/Rating

-Trainings/Seminars Attended (local or abroad)

-NSO or Birth Certificate

-Marriage Certificate

-Driving License (if applicable)

-Passport pictures white background  (2 pcs)

-SSS /Pag-ibig /Philhealth Identification Card (ID)

Steps and Tips  for Teaching Demo/Video Presentation

-A professional videographer will be hired by IMES to do the video.

-Proper and professional grooming is highly recommended.

Formal attire for all applicants must be observed.

-Teaching demo must be 5-10 minutes maximum.

-It must include the English Language as a tool or way of expressing ideas or means of giving presentation in a convenient way that is understandable to the viewers or to the recipient.

-The Americanized accent will be highly promoted as it is the primary language that will be taught to the students.

-Using of vulgar words is prohibited.

-Tools or medium used in the demo must be presentable and acceptable to the viewers/recipient.

-Presentations must be in order as to maximize the given /specified time for the demo.

-Materials to be used must be of own cost of the applicants.

-Sharing of materials are allowed but with proper permission to the owner.

-Agency will not be liable for the materials to be used like laptop, pen, board etc.
