Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and Electrician diploma and / or experience
• Advanced English Speaking and Writing
• 3-5 year of experience in a relevant / similar industry. Experience in Aluminium Smelting industries will preferable.

Task Description:

• Refers to the work instructions and wiring diagrams and electronics; perform installation, maintenance, repair and modification of electrical equipments.
• Detects and diagnose faults/defects during equipment installation.
• Performs preventive / predictive maintenance on electrical equipments and controls.
• Carries the complete work (storage and cleaning) and the effective operation of the equipment after each intervention.
• Removes, installs and adjusts the electrical components of production machines and plant with the help of internal wiring diagrams and documents provided by the supplier.
• Shares appropriate information to update the technical documentation
• Participates in equipment maintenance program (EMP) development and continues improvement.
• Maintains a good operating condition of all electrical equipment and electronic machinery and measuring instruments per EMP instructions.
• Performs maintenance and troubleshooting of different types of motors, variable frequency drives, emergency power systems like UPS and emergency generators.
• Utilises and perform basic maintenance for human-machine interfaces (DCS) and programmable logic controllers (PLC) to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
• Installs plant interior and exterior wiring; run conduit; mount panels, lighting, power outlets and plugs.
• Held responsible for the functionality and condition of his personal tools, test gear and general use tools and equipment.
• Performs all related duties on shift work as required.
