Job Description and Requirements
REGISTERED NURSES FOR NEW ZEALAND
(Study Work Programme En Route to NZ Registration)

Process:
1. Enrol a one year Bachelor of Nursing for Overseas Registered Nurses (RN-BN) Course
2. Study and Work 20 hrs per week (salary approx NZ$14/hr.)
3. Apply for NZ Registration
4. Guaranteed CAP Slot after finishing the course
5. Apply for residency

February, May and September 2012

ACTUAL TESTIMONY
I love my school so much that one day I hope to teach nursing here. In the meantime I am completing my RN-BN qualifications and working part time as a caregiver in the hospital.

I came to my school because it is one of the few New Zealand Polytechnics that offer the RN-BN pragramme. Since my arrival several months ago I was thrived in the positive learning environment and makes full of use of the on-campus facilities. " The Library and the Learning Hub are open until late, " she says. " I Live close to the school so its almost like having all the facilities at home. "

I will finish her RN-BN in December and I already applied for New zealand Nursing Registration.

I hope to continue working in the hospital and gain at least two years experience before setting my academic sights on a Masters in Nursing and eventually teaching nursing in the tertiary sector. " I have a dream to work as a Clinical Instructor here in my school."

REQUIREMENTS:
1. One year experience and IELTS 6.5
2. Have funds for the tuition fee (NZ$17,167) and enough allowance for one year stay in NZ (at least NZ$15,000)
