QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS Electrical or Telecom Engineering or equivalent degree

• In-depth understanding of satellite communications.

• Knowledge of satellite designs and limitations

• In-depth understanding of satellite link analysis

• Working knowledge of satellite analysis tools

• In-depth knowledge of ITU Radio Regulations and how they relate to practical satellite design

Minimum Experience:

• 5 to 7 years experience in satellite communications and system calculations.

• Knowledge of types of services and techniques relating to the job (calculations, assignments etc.)

• KA band experience is a plus

Job-Specific Skills:

• Knowledge of a wide range of services and requirements.

• Should be able to use one’s initiative and adapt to customer requirements.

• Should strive for better efficiencies and simpler ways of doing things.

• Significant amount of liaison with the Marketing and Sales Department in terms of technical specifications and recommendations.

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Understanding of satellite link analysis principals

• Knowledge of satellite communications

• Excellent organizational skills (tracking correspondence, etc.)

• Energetic and self-starter

• Task driven and goal oriented
