/>Responsible for admitting, recovering and discharging of patients from EP-Lab. Provides endorsement to the unit.

• Provides assistance as Electrophysiology Nurse during Electrophysiology studies & permanent pacemakers, I CDS implantations.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of location, care & operation of all related cardiac cath. lab equipment.
• Carries out established techniques for safe administration of medications, contrast media & parenteral fluids as per facility policies and procedures.
• Carries out medical & surgical asepsis during all procedures.
• Assists in the preparation and set-up of patients procedure trolley.
• Ensures adequate inventory of supplies and materials on a daily basis.
• Demonstrates knowledge of anesthetic drugs, actions & side effects.
• Monitors and performs removal of femoral sheaths.
• Assists in emergency resuscitation measures.
• Assists in handling the Pacemaker clinic & Tilt table procedures.
• Actively participates in department continuous educational programs & performance improvements activities.
• Performs other related duties.
