Job Title               :               MACHINIST (CNC)

Job Level             :               Non-Exempt

Reporting            :               Production / Manufacturing Engineer

Major Function :               Operating of CNC machine to fabricate precision parts according to production

                                                specification

Responsibilities:               1. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed; plan best sequence of operations

2. Compute dimensions and tolerance and measure and lay out work pieces

3. Performing work piece pre-production setup on the CNC Machine through the using of CNC programming language

4. Operating CNC Machine to produce the precision parts according to the precision parts specification on engineering drawings

5. Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machining tools that to be used in the machining process on the CNC machine

6. Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments

7. Carrying our simple CNC machine maintenance work through the helps from the maintenance team

8. To perform any other ad-hoc assignment as given by superior from time to time

General Qualifications, :                                1. Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience and Skills                     

Requirements                                   2. Minimum 1 year relevant experience in CNC machining process
