Male30 Years Old and AboveMinimum of 4 Years ExperienceAt Least Prof'l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof'l License Exam)ASSISTANCE CHIEF FIRE PREVENTION Position Summary Inspects systems and facilities, inducting alarms, extinguishers, hydrants, terminal facilities, support buildings, and tenant facilities. Ensures that deficiencies are notified to relevant authority, and that follow-up inspections are conducted to ensure that the deficiencies have been rectified. Supervises the activities of fire prevention, and breathing apparatus personnel. Report To Deputy Chief Fire Services Principal Duties & Responsibilities 1. Administers the fire prevention section and schedules workload of subordinate staff. 2. Regularly inspects buildings, facilities and aircraft ground operations for fire and safety hazards. 3. Prepares reports on inspections and notifies deputy chief of any potential hazards for further action. Performs re-inspection to ensure hazardous situations have been rectified. 4. Checks and tests all fire alarm boxes and enunciator system regularly. 5. Checks all fire extinguishers and hose reels to ensure in proper working conditions. Notifies fire extinguisher section of deficiencies. 6. Performs operational checks on all hydrants. 7. Reviews plans and specifications for new construction, and alternations and makes recommendations regarding fire prevention and safety matters. 8. Prepares fire prevention program and instruct fire department member in the importance of the fire prevention. 9. Conduct regular fire prevention lectures to KKIA employees. 10. Responsible for records and correspondence in connection with serving repair and recharging of fire extinguishers, vehicle status and breathing apparatus sets. 11. Responsible for storage and issuance of breathing apparatus and spare parts. 12. Ensures the maintenance and safekeeping of service manuals, manufacturer specifications, and spare parts manuals of breathing apparatus assets. 13. Enters essential information and operational data in connection with berating apparatus functions into system Qualifications / Credential: Education-Twelve (12) years formal education, university degree in fire/rescue related subject highly desirable. Specialized Qualifications Shall have completed formal course in and qualified to N.F.P.A -1021, officer level III. Shall also be qualified to N.F.P.A-1031, fire inspection level III, fire investigation level III and fire education officer level III. Nationals of Countries. Other than the united states shall possess qualifications at least equal to the above. Experience Fifteen (15) years experience in fire rescue services including at least twelve (12) years in a supervisory position. At least eight (8) years experience in a full time fire prevention position and at least two(2) of the last five (5) years must have been spent in an equivalent position at a large structural station. Possession of university degree in a fire/rescue related subject will reduce the experience requirement by four (4) years. Languages Arabic desirable. Ability to Read, Write and Speak English is required. Other Valid vehicle operator’s license in country of origin and ability to obtain same in Saudi Arabia. Must be thoroughly familiar with N.F.P.A codes and I.F.S.T.A manuals. Specific Geographical Origin Saudi Arabia, North America, Europe or the United Kingdom.
