IT MANAGER (Candidates have worked in hospital would be given priority)
JOB SUMMARY: Provide an efficient system for the administrative functions of the IT Dept and to facilitate the dissemination and retrieve of information in accordance with the policies of the hospital. Provide the administration with the technical aspects of computer works to attain an optimum software and hardware environment with the policies and objectives of the hospital.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- It is the duty of IT Manager to plan, organize, and control the objectives of the department.
- He should prepare and control department guidelines on all matters concerning the department.
- The IT Manager shall represent the department in discussions aimed to enhance the hospital policies and procedures.
- It is his duty to bridge the relationship between the administration and the IT staff, and the department’s relationship with other departments.
- He must see to it that all demands from other departments for reports and other information’s are met as per policy of the hospital in general.
- He should ensure all hospital computer systems are implemented successfully.
- He must coordinate with his subordinates on matters regarding software development and hardware enhancements.
- He must report to the COO the status of the projects being undertaken by the department.
- He is responsible for the evaluation of his subordinates to maintain a high level of standard of IT staff.
- It is the duty of the IT Manager to plan, organize and control the execution of technical developments.
- He should access present hardware requirements and give recommendations on the future computer trends and requirements of the hospital.
- He must work hand in hand with his staff to ensure proper implementation of the systems developed for the hospital and ensure the execution of the policies adopted by the hospital
- He must participate in discussions aimed to enhance the policies and procedures especially matters concerning software development and implementation.
- He must update the COO on the status of each project being undertaken
- He supervises the IT staff for quarter bonus evaluation.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Education: Graduate of Computer Engineering or higher is preferred
- Experience: Two (10) years of minimum experience as IT Manager in a reputable organization.
- Knowledge/Skills: With broad knowledge in SQL Server 2000, VB6 Programming, .Net Visual Studio, Oracle Forms Developer, Exchange Servers, Domain Controller, ISA Sever, CISCO switched and routers.
- Five (5) years experience in R12.x E-Business suites
- Must be a certified MCDBA
- Expertise in HIS (Hospital Information System) is a mist.
- Licensure: Required
- Languages: Proficiency both is English and Arabic is preferred.
- Personal Requirement: Must have integrity, initiative, evidence of good health and grooming, good moral character and right conduct, strong and pleasing personality.
- Job Requirement: Participates actively in organization-wide activities without hesitance or personal reservation. Can adapt to unusual job related circumstances. Works effectively under stressful condition. Willing to work extended hours to attend to patient problems Admission/Discharge Office. Willing to relocate in other SG Hospitals in order to fill in gap. If needed.
