Baker Job Description :
- Prepares / bakes cakes, cookies, muffins, cup cakes, pies, puddings, or desserts, according to recipe
- Prepares / Bakes Breads, Croissants, and Danish Pastries
- Measures ingredients, using measuring cups spoons
- Mixes ingredients to form dough or batter, using electric mixer / kneaders or beats stirs ingredients by hand
- Shapes dough for cookies, pies, and fancy pastries, using pie dough roller cookie cutters or by hand
- Places shaped dough portions in greased or floured pans inserts them in oven, using long-handled paddle peel
- Adjusts drafts or thermostatic controls to regulate oven temperatures
- Prepares cooks ingredients for pie fillings, puddings, custards, or other desserts
- Pours filling into pie shells tops filling with meringue or cream
- Mixes ingredients to make icings
- Blends colors for icings and for shaped sugar ornaments statuaries
- Cleaning of Bakery Area after use + general coordination with Sales Staff and orders Receiving + Products Replenishment coordination
Confectioner/Chocolatier & Cake Designer Jon Description :
- Free Hand Sketching based on Clients Need for 3D Cakes
- Artistic and Skilled Figurine Artist/molder
- Decorates cakes pastries with designs, using icing bag or handmade paper cone
- Trims uneven surfaces of cake or cuts shapes cake to required size, using knife
- Spreads icing between layers on surfaces of cake, using spatula
- Tints white icing with food coloring
- Inserts die of specific design into tip of bag or paper cone fills bag or cone with colored icing
- Squeezes bag to eject icing while moving bag with free-arm writing motions to form design on cake
- Forms decorations on flower nail transfers decorations to cake, using spatula
- Responsible for ensuring all equipment and area well kept & cleaned after use
- Chocolate Tempering and Molding
- Making hand Tempered Chocolate Decorations
Breakfast Chef Assistant:
o To maintain a high standard work in accordance with the Head Chef’s instructions.
o To maintain and achieve a high standard of food quality, preparation, production and to assist in service under guidance from immediate Chef.
o To aid in achieving food cost kitchen standards and overall objectives.
o To keep high standard of personal hygiene, clean uniform and overall camaraderie.
o To keep high standard of cleanliness on section where employed also to assist in any job regarding hygiene asked for by Chef.
o Serve Customers in the Seating Area once Food ready to be Served
o Garnish Food in the best way Possible for unique food presentations
o Washing of Kitchen Tools, Dishes, Utensils
o Kitchen Cleaning
o Equipments Safe Operations
Breakfast Chef:
o Continental American Breakfast (Egs, Sausage, Waffles, Crepes, Pan Cakes, Potatoes, Burgers, Sandwiches, Steaks, Chicken, Grills
o Works with his own hands making major preparations of Breakfast
o To maintain a high standard of service at all times.
o To ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and guidelines are implemented, adhered to and reviewed regularly, in respect of kitchen production, employees, machinery, equipment and hygiene.
o To ensure all products used are of a high standard.
o To produce all dishes to a high standard upon presentation of the recipe.
o To ensure all areas are clean and tidy after service
o To ensure all dishes are served at the correct portion size, quality and temperature.
o Jointly responsible for preparing kitchen cleaning rotas, supervising cleaning schedules and signing off on a weekly basis.
