Primary purpose of the job:
Â
·        Assist in the design and development of technical training programs and the skill evaluation of trainees according to ZLC’s training plan.
·        Responsible for the design, development, assessment, implementation, delivery and evaluation Basic System,          Product Familiarization and Maintenance training session in accordance with ZLC master plan and area of expertise’s for internal and external customer.
·        Serve as a learner counselor by providing trainees with the necessary technical learning support to ensure all training participants get the equal skill and able to explore their strength and weakness.

Principal accountabilities:
Â
·        Prepare and deliver Apprenticeship, Basic System, Product Familiarization and Maintenance training sessions.
·        Perform technical knowledge, skills assessments and certification on foundation level of competencies as required by the Technical Development Program.
·        Schedule and conduct regular counseling sessions with apprentices to ensure the learning objectives are being worked towards consistently.
·        Compile and submit training reports, and update the training database with assessment results of competencies covered during training sessions.
·        Ensure that basic training materials are constantly updated, including assessment forms and procedures, course outlines, trainer modules, notes and presentations, trainee handouts, self-study materials, and practical activity workbook.
·        Coordinate with Technical Assistants to ensure that all tools, training aids and equipment required for training is available and in good working order well in advance of training events.
·        Ensure that safety and contamination control regulations are followed at all times.
·        Assist with apprentice recruitment by conducting “CANâ€Â tests, aptitude tests, and evaluations; logging and submitting the results to the Technical Training Assistants for filing and distribution.
·        Responsible for developing personal knowledge and skills to that of a Technical Training Specialist II by successfully achieving the set objectives.
·        Assist in selected projects and complete tasks according to the guidelines and requirements of management.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Education:
Â
·        Degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
Â
Experience:
Â
·        4-5 years dealer experience as a Technician or other relevant technical position
·        3 years technical training at a dealer would be beneficial
·        Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential
·        Proficiency in the following: CAT Basic; Machine Pro; Parts Pro; Power Pro; SIS; DLMS and other related applications.
