As an integral part of the Viaduct team, the Reporting Specialist is primarily responsible for coordinating and presenting project status in a variety of media. Day to day activities involve interfacing with other Civil Works Joint Venture (CWJV) teams and Delivery Team Management in the preparation of reports and presentations to all levels of Consortium, Client, Stakeholder organizations.
The Reporting Specialist, under the guidance of the Controls Manager, assists in the administration of Viaduct activities in fast paced and demanding environment.
Role Responsibilities:
· Coordination and production of Monthly Progress Reporting for submittal to the PMO.
· Assistance in the coordination and production of Weekly Progress Reporting to the PMO.
· Coordination and update of project Critical Issues and Actions Report (CIAR) and database.
· Coordination and production of a variety of presentation materials.
· Development and maintenance of project status graphics and trackers.
· Assistance in the development and implementation of training for project-wide reporting tools.
· Assistance with the administration of responsibilities beyond reporting requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Effective communications at all levels of project organization.
· Aptitude for graphic organization, presentation, and production.
· Proven ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize assignments.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· Understanding of EPC and Heavy Civil operations.
· Understanding of EPC standards, processes, and procedures.
· Familiarity with Project Controls concepts.
· Education – Bachelors degree from an accredited university.
· Experience – Minimum of three to five years of experience in an Engineering and Construction environment.
· English proficiency is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Advanced PowerPoint skills.
· AutoCAD proficiency.
· Technical writing skills.
· Proven ability to perform and deliver in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
· Familiarity with Six Sigma concepts.
· Experience in Civil and Rail operations.
· Education - Bachelors degree in Engineering and Construction related fields of study.
· Experience – Five to seven years of experience in an Engineering and Construction environment.
