Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in Petroleum/Process/Chemical Engineering. An advanced degree is advantageous (e.g., Masters in Business, Economics, etc.).
- Seasoned experience in refining/petrochemicals integration projects, technical support, and economic evaluations.
- Good knowledge and technical capabilities of all refinery and primary petrochemical processes.
- Project economic evaluation capability and business development acumen.
- Knowledge of LP model and other optimization tools.
- Experience in oil refineries, olefins, polyolefin, aromatics and derivatives, or better yet, in an integrated refinery and petrochemical facility/company.
- Broad and current knowledge of power generation, utilities, off-sites, supply chain and downstream transformation industries.
- Experienced at undertaking complex conceptual studies with basic economic evaluations.
- Technically competent with understanding of all engineering disciplines.
- Able to exercise influence with effective communication (oral, writing, presentation and meeting) skills.
- Ability to analyze integrated refining/petrochemical project economics.
- Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and implications of noncompliance.
