• Electrical Trade Certificate / Technical diploma in Electrical/Instrument Engineering
• Fully competent with Hazardous area equipment in terms of Installation and maintenance requirements.
Position Recommended Qualifications, Experience & Skills;
• Good knowledge of plant Electrical and Instrument Systems, plant construction and commissioning.
• Experience in both comrnissioninq and maintenance, Oil & gas preferred.
• Ability to lead a multi-national, multi skill team oftechnicians both as a supervisor & technical advisor.
• Experience in Training of national labour both through CBTA & OJT is an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot & problem solve within general field Instrumentation, Control and
Safeguarding systems and Package Instrumentation and controls.

• Ensure that all work conducted will be done so in a safe manner, utilising all safety equipment
& PPE necessary to complete the specific work.
• Conduct Job Safety Analysis / Task Risk Assessments & Toolbox Talks as & when required.
• Know & understand your role in an emergency situation & in emergency exercises / drills.
• Participate in all Investigations of Incidents related to equipment on the facility.
• Understand and utilise the Lock Outl Tag Out system to safely complete specific work.
• Familiarisation and good understanding of Electrical Safety rules and procedures applicable to hydrocarbon facilities.
Position Responsibilities
• Carry out planned routine and corrective maintenance (trouble shooting) for all site Instrumentation, including Field Instruments, Control and Safeguarding systems, Fire and Gas detectors and extinguishant systems, Custody Transfer Gas Metering (Validation, Analyser calibration I verification), Condition monitoring for rotating equipment packages, etc.)
• Assist I Support Vendors during planned routine maintenance I service contract visits and
Emergency support (e.q, Control and Safeguarding Systems, Metering, Rotating Equipment, Telecommu nications).
• Ensuring the Ex (Hazardous area rating) and IP ratings of all Instrument items are maintained, such that integrity is not compromised.
• Manage & motivate a Team of Technicians to maintain the highest safety performance while keeping them focused on the tasks at hand.
• Carry out planned maintenance activities as per the schedule and maintain accurate records within SAP (Computerised Maintenance Management System - CMMS).
• Responsible for completing on time all maintenance related safety and audit action items allocated to the Instrument section.
• Raise notifications, corrective work orders and arrange materials to ensure timely work order auctioning I completion.
• Provide Technical support to operations personnel for planned and corrective maintenance of
Instrumentation and associated systems.
• Co-ordinate with operations personnel for the start-up and shut-down of equipment, including applying start-up over-rides and forces as required.
• Assist and provide discipline technical input for equipment I item failure analysis, including assisting with historic data retrieval, providing process trends, etc.
• Ability to communicate with Technical Support Specialists, red-line I as-built mark-up diagrams such as loop, wiring diagrams and P&IDs, and competently interpret technical drawings & documents.
• Perform in an emergency role as defined by the company's emergency response procedures.
• Involvement in daily maintenance planning activities as well as direct input into the 90 Day look ahead & 14 Day maintenance plans.
• Coach and Mentor the Myanmar National staff to ensure they are in compliance with all HSE
guidelines and utilising best Industry practices.
• Awareness of Human factors, including the effects of Environmental conditions & potential effects of SIMOPS on the facility.
• Assists the Maintenance Supervisor with evaluation of equipment performance when requested.
• Ability to identify & order spare parts through the CMMS Inventory System and comprehensively update the onsite Critical Instrument Spares inventory.
• Collect Sample Data from running machinery for Equipment performance analysis.
• Compile detailed written reports on daily activities, maintaining records of all maintenance activities carried out by you on any equipment.
