Task Description:
- Develops the oil analysis sampling frequency schedules (oil analysis program) for rotating equipment and hydraulic systems as per RSD procedure
- Monitors the oil analysis program implementation and Review oil analysis LAB reports and recommends actions need based on the report results to RSD plant Sr. Engineer / Group Leader
- Develops and monitors the oil replacement frequency for all rotating equipment which are not covered under oil analysis program.
- Standardizes the lubrication requirement across the plants by suggesting equivalent lubricant availability in close coordination with oil vendor
- Ensures oil properties before recommending it for use
- Maintains a consolidated lubrication and hydraulic oil chart detailing equipment No., the type of lubricant, quantity of lubricant and the frequency of replacement. Modify the list to include new equipment / delete the out of use equipment.
- Prepares the annual, monthly and weekly lubricant and hydraulic oil condition health reports
- Coordinates with the oil analysis laboratories and vendors for better/new methods of oil sampling and analysis. Exploring new techniques for savings on lubricants across all the plant.
- Coordinates with Q/A Department for establishing parameters for In-Service oil test.
- Guides maintenance team in identifying proper lubrication points, sampling points ensuring adequate breather installations.
- Assists RSD Engineers and Area Maintenance Departments during oil replacement and participate in approving the flushing activities results for all rotating equipment covered under oil analysis program.
- Assists RSD Engineers and Area Maintenance Departments for identifying & scheduling the lubrication and hydraulic machinery related jobs during T/A. Ensures that the lubrication tasks are attended as per the schedule.
- Advises RCM Engineer with regards to changes in the equipment strategy especially those which are related to oil sampling such as changing of sampling frequency
- Assists Root Cause Analysis Studies in areas which are related to lubrication system
- Ensures proper log entries for all lubrication related jobs in SAP.

Provides data integration and interface to other reliability activities including vibration, acoustics and IR thermography.
Fulfilling the department and section SHE objectives including compliance with PPE requirements, SHE related training and the set target for AMAN report.
