MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
ï· Completion of ITC: English, E6; Math, MI.
ï· Experience Required: Four (4) years in housing operations.
ï· Sufficient English to write reports, make work lists, maintain records and deal with community residents avoiding misunderstandings.
ï· Arabic fluent enough to converse freely with Arabic speaking residents.
ï· Must possess knowledge of maintenance craft work to make judgment on cost and feasibility of jobs. Must possess considerable task and judgment to perform duties, often under difficult circumstances, in contact with peoples of many different customs and habits.
ï· Must possess valid SAG driver's license.
Department Brief Description & Requirements
ï· Responsible for the daily operation requirement at DH key room, and upkeep of a group of residential buildings at DH community for bachelor and family Units or similar.
ï· Inspects house and bachelor quarters as they become vacant making a detailed list of items which require maintenance.
ï· Meets with future occupant to add to primary list any items occupant may request that are within approved work standards. Explains limits of Company work that can be approved.
ï· Receives and processes requests for work of maintenance type on occupied units.
ï· Prepares work lists and work orders for work to be performed and obtains approvals before releasing to Maintenance.
ï· Follows jobs with Maintenance to insure quality and quantity of approved work is obtained.
ï· Inspects house boy and janitor work performed under SPLA to assure proper quality and quantity, reporting deviations to the SPLA supervision.
ï· Inspects community daily to ensure community appearance is upheld, approaches residents if cleanup/adjustment is necessary, issues work order for moving shacks and undesirable items, reports unusual circumstances or violations to supervisor.
