2. Job Purpose:
The main purpose of this job is to provide timely and reliable business intelligence to Management about the performance of the various units through regular performance analysis, reviews, and performance audits. The jobholder is also expected to provide guidance and support to the various units in the implementation of the company’s corporate performance framework (which includes scorecard, risk management, knowledge management, change management, reviews, dashboards, etc)
3. Measures of Performance
3.1 Timeliness, Reliability, Usefulness of Management Reports
3.2 Percentage of Performance Reviews/Audits conducted on time versus assigned
3.3 Percentage of identified Risks with mitigating measures implemented
3.4 Number of improvement initiatives recommended and implemented
4. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Provides guidance to unit heads in setting up and implementing their operating plans, scorecards, operating framework (risk management and knowledge management) and dashboards.
· Conduct regular analysis of the performance of the units assigned to him and provide Management with the result of his analysis.
· Organize performance reviews between top Management and the division/department heads.
· Conduct performance audit from time to time.
· Recommends continual improvement initiatives in terms of fresh and innovative tools, frameworks, approaches, and best practices to improve organizational performance.
5. Additional Duties & Responsibilities
· Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time
6. Job Specifications
6.1 Education & Professional Qualification
· Chartered Accountant or MBA Graduate or CMA, CIMA and other equivalent professional certification.
6.2 Experience
· Minimum of 2 years in any of the following functions: audit, performance management, corporate planning, strategic planning, etc.
· Preferably with background in the construction business
10.3 Knowledge
· Sound understanding of principles and practical application of Balanced Scorecard or Key Performance Indicators.
· Sound understanding of enterprise risk management
· Sound understanding of business process management concepts and practices
10.4 Skills & Abilities
· Quantitative Analysis (ability to sift through and analyze complicated data and make logical and sound interpretation)
· Management Reporting skills (ability to create and present management-level reports)
· Conducting Audits
· Assertive Communication Skills (ability to handle difficult situations)
· Presentation Skills (ability to present ideas to management level)
· Identifying opportunities for improvements using Business Process Management tools and techniques.
· Diagnostic skills (ability to diagnose performance-related problems and analyze gaps)
· Above average spoken and written English
