I was surfing the Internet and found WorkAbroad.ph and decided to register. I applied to job postings and after several months I received a call from my employer for final interview. After that they sent me a working visa as a SAFETY OFFICER.

Thank you to WorAbroad. More power and God bless.

Jefferson L. Alamil

Jefferson was hired by Batangueño Human Resources, Inc and left the country on October 13, 2011.

I felt my work on board the ship was getting too toxic for me. It was never my dream job to start with, I just have to go since there were no places hiring as much as the shipping industry back then in 2002. So until 2010 after my assignment I resorted to the internet and by God I know that it wasn't just coincidence, stumbled upon Workabroad.ph.

The next thing I knew I was receiving at least 3 to 4 job offers a day! And boy I was happy about that! But it was EDI Staffbuilders International Inc (EDI) which made an impression that it could be the job that I have been looking for the last 8 years. Went there, got through the requirements and the last thing I knew I was taking their language training for 2 months prior to the deployment in which by the way was paid! Where else can you find an agency which actually pays you and gear you up at the same time? Pretty sweet huh!

After the training, there were some minor glitches but by no means we're not leaving it's just the visa application was re-evaluated. Then after almost 10 months we flown to Finland. Never felt this happiness before.

Right now I'm still waiting for the right job for me. But I would like to commend this WorkAbroad.ph because everything that other applicants say here is true. Since I created an account  I always received a call from different agencies asking me if I would like to apply for the job they offer in different countries. I was so amazed, no need to go to agency all you need to do is wait for their call and RELAX! :)

Two thumbs up for you guys!
